Very disappointed in city’s snow removal. City Waits too long to get out and begin removal.

My street was not plowed after the last TWO snowfalls. There is a thick layer of snow despite the main streets being completely clear.

If we need to adjust parking rules, then let's do it. But it is difficult to function when deep snow hampers travel for more than a day and the roads remain slippery afterward because everything has been packed down and turned to ice . It's unsafe.

I have lived many different places & the snow plowing in Saint Paul is shameful & very dangerous! There needs to be more $ allocated to snow plowing. It's a BASIC city service!

A well written and planned solution. The lack of plowing services has been a problem for several years. Thank you for taking action Ms. Czech!

It would be great if they actually plowed the side roads and not just the main ones.

As a resident in the Como area, it has taken me over 5 minutes to get 1.5 short blocks or 3 long blocks to get from my home to Larpenteur or Lexington one or two days after snowfalls. This year I had to back down Milton because I could not go from my alley between Idaho and California to get to Larpenteur. I also got stuck on Oxford for 5 min in a pile of snow a day and a half after the snow fell. Once I get out and drive through Roseville everything is plowed. I agree plowing needs to start immediately and not wait for snow emergency to start side streets.

The main roads are clear and dry, but regular residential streets are thick with snow. This seems overbalanced and ill concieved. I’d like to buy a smaller car, but am afraid I’ll get stuck down my street. Not everyone can afford a Subaru.

Not only has delayed or non- plowing made for difficult driving but the mounds on our boulevard (created when street was plowed) are so high, anyone trying drive thru turn- around cannot see traffic on opposite side of street. St Paul residents already pay very high taxes...services should match our out of pocket expense.

I support this petition; we need safer roads! Multiple cars were stuck in the Ashland/Arundel intersection and driving was nearly impossible for days.

My kids school bus has gotten stuck several times and even hit a park car because the side roads don’t get shoveled. The first time the poor kids sat on the bus for 3-hours. Unacceptable.

Please clear the streets from curb to curb, and start towing cars when people don't move.

Plowing alleys is also important now with the city regulated garbage service!

I agree that the level of snow plowing service is absolutely inadequate for the amount of taxes we pay to the city. We have considered leaving the city and living in a suburb that provides much better street maintenance AND lower taxes.

My kids go to spps schools and I work at spps school and the buses have had a lot of trouble that would be remedied with BETTER PLOWING.
