Safe Crossing at Philadelphia and Park

Seems like a clear error that no sidewalk exists here. Drivers, even those obeying traffic laws, have no visual cue that pedestrians might be in the road.

This is such a dangerous intersection, and for people trying to cross Park, there's no safe way to do it.

Thanks Kathryn. I've lived here for 9 years and have always referred to it as Park Road. I have added a notation about the correction.

This is a dangerous intersection -- I don't live near it, but I find it dangerous and every time I cross it I worry about my daughter and other kids. Something needs to be done to slow down cars that turn onto this street.

My kids and I walk here all the time. Cars and trucks race up Philadelphia and often turn on Park without looking or signaling.

Clear and present danger at this intersection. Please note this is Park Avenue, not Park Road.

Crossing Philadelphia is a constant issue, no matter where we cross. The crosswalks are far apart and require long waits. Changes are much-needed.

Resident of 11 Philadelphia, Multiple families in need of this crosswalk on this block.

Agree this intersection is dangerous for walkers. A crosswalk with bulbs to decrease the crossing distance would help.

I strongly support improving pedestrian safety at this intersection. A crosswalk is needed, but also traffic calming measures to reduce the crossing distance and slow down vehicles turning onto Park.

This intersection is in a neighborhood filled with young children and en route to two elementary schools. Please help!

We also need to make visibility better for cars entering Park Ave from Valley View, just uphill from Philadelphia. Removing vegetation and requiring cars to park further back from the Valley View intersection are badly needed.

Our community needs a crosswalk here to ensure the safety of pedestrians and bikers alike crossing this road.

Get a crosswalk to go across Philly at the same intersection.

I support making this crossing safer for pedestrians, ADA compliant, and serving as a traffic calming feature as vehicles turn from Philadelphia on to Park.
