Campus speech codes restrict every students right to express themselves on campus. Saddleback College has regulations in place that prevent speech and advocacy activities outside of "speech zones". Their policy specifically prevents students from posting temporary postings and conducting freedom of speech activities outside their designated zone.

We believe that BP & AR 8000 remain highly unconstitutional, and precedent set by previous court cases backs our assertion.

We will not stand idle as freedom of expression and the ability to think critically is stepped on.

As of September 22nd 2016, Saddleback College Young Americans For Freedom will begin Phase 1 of the freedom initiative.

We will be educating and informing students and faculty about the speech restrictions in place and establish contingency plans to promote dialogue and support for policy change.

UCLA conducted research on political ideology from 2007-2011. The study showed that 66.7 percent of full-time professors aligned themselves as liberal or far left. Supporting the claim that left-wing educating has entered lecture halls across the nation.

Saddleback lost a lawsuit in 2002, (Khademi Vs. SOCCCD). The lawsuit showed that large portions of BP 8000 were unconstitutional.

For the foregoing reasons, the Court finds that a number of provisions in Board Policy 8000 violate Plaintiffs' First Amendment rights. Because many of the unconstitutional provisions are not functionally or volitionally severable from the rest of the policy, all provisions in BP 8000 applicable to students must be struck down in their entirety. With the exception of section XIII.L.1(h) and the words "without limitation" in section XIII.L.1, which are struck and severed, the provisions applicable to the general public and Civic Center Act users remain in effect. Plaintiffs' Motion for Summary Adjudication is hereby
