While I am not sure the Prime Minister can sack Senator Leyonhjelm I agree he should be removed from office in light of his recent comments on the Bourke Street Mall incident. It shows a pattern of behaviour that does not meet the standards of a Member of the Senate.
This man is an insult to our country. He brings everything down to his own crude base level and we are tired of it. He needs to resign.
To make a joke about the death of anyone, let alone that of a child, to further your sick political agenda is revolting.
Using a tragedy involving multiple deaths and injuries for tasteless political point-scoring proves he is not fit to hold office as a representative of the Australian people.
He has no notion of leadership, and is callous, surely a barrier to being in parliament..
Disgusting. It's time for Australia to have real leaders in this country.

His comments are extremely insensitive to the victims, witnesses and first responders to this afternoon's events, and show he is not fit to hold office. Nor is Malcolm Roberts.
