I urge the annulment of the unjust decision concerning the position of Professor Hans Thybo. The world is full of injustices, and  at least within the ambit of universality should be avoided.

I am deeply shocked at the persecution of Professor Hans Thybo by his own institution. His behaviour has always been totally professional, inspirational and ethical in the 25 years I have known him.

Steve Sparks I have always thought of Denmark as an enlighted country with a proud record of freedom of thought. The official reasons for dismissal are trivial and appear to go against freedom of thought and the right to criticise, which should be sacrosanct in a University.

I have known Prof. Hans Thybo for many years, and his outstanding reputation as a scientist has brought credit to his country and his institution. Statements given as a basis for terminating his employment, are simply not acceptable.
