Sack Allister Coetzee
We formally request, as the public of South Africa and supporters of the Springboks, that Allister Coetzee is removed from his post as Springbok coach.
The Springboks are a national sports team and it is therefore fitting that the nation's voices are heard during this important decision making period. We believe that Coetzee has ruined the image and pride of the Springbok emblem. Although we acknowledge SARU's statement that there is plenty wrong in SA rugby, we believe that a loss to Italy, record loss to the Allblacks and a record loss to Wales is solely the responsibility of the coaching staff. It is, afterall, not the administrators' fault that we miss tackles and cannot score tries against a weakened ITALY.
There is a level of standard that should be kept for Springbok rugby regardless of anything and keeping Allister Coetzee on is nothing more than a massive slap in the face to the proud supporters and fans of the Springboks. We also believe it is a sign of disrespect that Coetzee cannot take responsibilty for his poor season and makes the excuse that he did not have enough time. Let us be reminded that Eddy Jones joined a damaged England shortly before december 2015 and played his first match on 6 Febuary 2016. What he has achieved does not need elaboration.
We request once more that the public opinion is heard and that Allister Coetzee is removed as the head coach.
