In light of the recent Students Association "Elections" we (the undersigned) feel that the Democratic process was abused and misused to secure the nomination of the ticket that was most favorable to the Advisers who selected the policy. To state that the grievance which brought about the third day of voting in the aforementioned "Elections" was unable to verify and based only on the hearsay of the original losing ticket and a group of people whom had openly poor relations with the Siglin Sutton ticket. If the violation was verifiable then the Finck Dahle ticket would benefit from the release of the entire grievance statement. The actions taken by the advisers of SA seemed biased and placed the results of the election into the hands of the apathetic students who did not feel their attendance was necessary in the original election. This election is at best a sham and smudge on Democracy and serve as a proof that the Democratic process is easily circumvented when one group is dissatisfied with the results. The newly "elected" Finck Dahle presidency will head the Students Association for the next fiscal year speaking as the voice for students. If you feel that this result seems unfair inform the SA Advisers by signing onto the petition and encourage more fair unbiased results in the future.
The administration thought they could bury this fraud and move on without us noticing. The momentum building here proves they miscalculated how much we loathe their backroom deals and rigged outcomes.

This whole thing is a total joke. Nobody even knows what the evidence actually is and the advisers are just making it up as they go.

To choose the newest "leader of the students" based on hearsay is complete and absolute garbage. Horrible advising done by the committee that determined it. To give the advantage to the Finck-Dahle ticket by means of gossip is ridiculous, uncalled for, and violates the rights of the Siglin-Sutton ticket, who - based on lack of evidence - did nothing wrong in their electoral campaign strategy. The fact that students voted for the Siglin-Sutton ticket in the first (and only relevant) election means the students did not support the leadership of the Finck-Dahle ticket. REVERSE this hazardous mistake and make Students' Association voting MATTER again.

I believe that there was a lack of any sort of real proof with the grievance that was filed. The fact that the grievance was filed 4 days before the election ended shows that it shouldn't have even been valid and I have yet to hear that there was any sort of proof to back up the grievance.

they have worked hard to be the president and Vice President. I support Siglin and Sutton because they are hard working, dedicated people and would be great for SDSU!
