I am a cyclist but rarely cycle in the centre of Bristol because of the busy roads and the risks from other road users.

A commuter who uses a bike instead of a car I need more space allocated on Bristol roads. Facilities and cycle ways are inevitably an afterthought - that said, cycling is still by far the fastest commute available the majority of the time.

We really need to get more people cycling in Bristol - its way too congested and more cycle infrastructure and safer roads needed!

Put an end to stop-start cycle lanes and do everything possible to separate cyclists and motorists!

Please improve cycling facilities by making more joined up routes making it safer and easier for people to cycle to work and also cycle for pleasure.

More people would cycle if the infrastructure was there to make them feel safe. Come on Bristol!

I cycle every day and would like to feel safe, not threatened. I know more people would cycle to work if they had dedicated safe cycle routes available.

There needs to be sense in how cycle lanes are planned. Short random lanes are dangerous and don't work

Please encourage more people to cycle to ease congestion on our roads.

Cycle lanes come to end in places where they are still needed - unsafe!
We need a comprehensive network. Improving cycle network should be a priority for Bristol council.

And not just the City Centre - needs to include safe, segregated cycle routes to important outlying towns for example, Yate. In addition A&S Police & CPS must start taking targeted cycle theft seriously too.

I am in favour but hope that S4C will produce more concrete proposals.

One of the reasons I relocated to Bristol was because of its reputation as being a cycle friendly city. While this is true when compared to other cities in the country, its reputation should be based on setting its own excellent standards and rather than being the best of a bad bunch. Therefore, I feel that the city must drastically improve its cycling infrastructure as a primary concern for in planning for a better Bristol.
