I commute to work, cycling to/from Bristol 16 miles per day. So I really do appreciate the cycle paths into Bristol. Seen some good improvements (Baldwin St; and currently cobbled area in Castle Park being improved). But cycling through the city is still not a great experience and many I know don't feel safe enough to do it. It could therefore make such a big difference in encouraging more cyclists in the city!

I have cycled in Bristol since moving here in 2008 and have never felt safe except on the Bristol to Bath cycle path. Bristol needs to be brave and show the rest of the country that cars have had their day - there are too many of them and they take up too much space. Towns and cities like Bristol need to be re-claimed by cyclists and pedestrians. Bristol should to Cardiff for how to keep cars out of the city centre and follow their example. Be bold Bristol, don't be bullied by cars. Build proper joined up segregated cycle lanes and people will use them. Better still, simply take some roads out of traffic use altogether and reserve them for cycles. Far cheaper than having to build cycles lanes. There are plenty of roads for cars - why should they have access to all of them? Thanks

Great to have this pressure for improved cycling provision. It would be helpful to see all Bristol Space for Cycling recommendations in one document so that they can be systematically evaluated with appropriate stakeholders.

I've used the Bristol-Bath cycle path for over 30 years now as a route to work. I love it and would like to see more of these. Can I request, though, that the "racer" cyclists be more considerate to us slower cyclists and pedestrians. Some are just as bad as car drivers with their selfishness!

Give cyclists space.
White lines on the roads are not enough.

Whether petrol, diesel or electric automobiles are unhealthy to human beings in the 21st century.
It is long over due that we address our means of transportation in the south west of England.

We need more cycle lanes for peoples safety, and I think this should be made a priority.

Bristol is doing OK, but more needs to be done. It has to be easier, more convenient and safer for cyclists and not car drivers

It's not too bad. But any more cycling lines - or route would be good

Bristol is absolutely full of cyclists - what a great thing! But cycling in Bristol needs to be made much much safer and more pleasant. Things such as more dedicated cycle lanes will benefit car drivers and pedestrians as well.

Crucial that we make a reality of the Green Capital legacy and create the safe, clean City we can all benefit from.
