I've cycled thousands of miles in Bristol and have seen too many cyclists being tended to by ambulances. I don't want to have to experience that side of cycling... Please help!!!

Bristol was the UK's first cycling city and we've made great changes in the last few years, lets continue to do so and really make a difference to people's health and well-being.

I'm still cycling at 69 but I'm feeling less confident on the roads these days. With more dedicated cycle space I'd be able to keep going longer.

Better cycling infrastructure facilitates more cycling, better health, less pollution, less accidents as well as making cycling with children a viable reality.

Improving cycling infrastructure encourages more people to take up cycling and thus improve health and reduce car use.

I live in Failand and there are no safe cycle routes for me to get home from the centre, I have nearly been hit by cars, lorries and buses on more than one occasion. I am also verbally abused by drivers on a daily basis. The cycle paths that are provided need to be sectioned off from pedestrians as the existing routes are not safe to use as there is a real danger of colliding with pedestrians who wander out in front of your bike.

Like a lot of Bristol transport there is never really an alternative to the car so if there were safer cycling route this would provide a safer alternative to using cars , and be cleaner !

This is a really good idea and as a cyclist fully support everything it stands for. But also think there should be investment into educating cyclists as well as drivers...I see a lot of bad cycling, no lights, no helmets, jumping red lights etc

Getting people out of cars and onto bikes will reduce congestion and make the roads safer for cyclists, improve air quality and increase the fitness and health of our citizens, - surely a no-brainer!!

We need more bike racks and safer road. There are too many bad drivers and unfortunately we need to share narrow road with them. I wish that that will change soon and there will be more cycling lanes.

I cycle all over Bristol, a lovely place with some really dangerous spots for cyclists.
