With the school re-structuring, University of Sussex management are contemplating doing away with current departmental co-ordinator positions in a move towards centralisation of administration. We believe the department would suffer without the valuable role performed by our co-ordinator and urge the university to reconsider this move.

Seeing this level of support reminds me exactly why our coordinator is the heartbeat of this department. Their work keeps us grounded when things get chaotic and I am overwhelmed by how many of you recognize what we would lose without them.

Are they crazy? We need these people to actually get anything done around here. Stop cutting jobs that matter.

Ridiculous decision. Efficiency isnt just about saving money on paper it is about having real people helping us out.

The department would fall apart without them. Everything runs smoothly because of the work they do everyday. This is a huge mistake.
