The signitures below petition against gender discrimination in community youth athletic programs in the Rye Brook Recreation Program. Specifically, at this time, for the inclusion of 2nd grade girls in the existing basketball league or for a 'separate but equal' program for 2nd grade girls.

Updates

The level of traction this petition has gained demonstrates a clear consensus regarding the local youth sports programming. This momentum confirms that our community expects equitable opportunities for all children.

My niece is tougher than half the boys on that team anyway. Give her a chance to play.

This is total garbage. My niece has been asking to join for months and keeps getting told no. Fix this Rye Brook.
