Our whole neighborhood has has issues with the heater condensation line freezing and then cutting off. My line froze and cracked this year. I have contacted Ryan Homes each year since moving in and they send the same company out each time to fix it and they do little and it continues to happen.

I currently live in PA and I've had way too many problems with the structure, wiring, and appliances of this home. It was so poorly constructed, and they need to be held liable for this.

I live in Richmond, VA. Ryan Townhouse community. The people in my neighborhood who have a kitchen in the back of the home..frozen and burst pipes...poor craftmanship, lack of insulation. Here we are in temps under 15 degrees and the lack of quality is heavily apparent. When quality workman come to work on the house, they shake their heads and try to fix what "Ryan didn't feel like doing" to "finish the job".

Recently moved in. Once I had my lights/ceiling fans installed I was able to see the poor workmanship. Paint/ drywall is awful. Can see drywall seams, hot water heater broken first day I moved in. Rusty showers

EXTREMELY horrible workmanship and service from Ryan Homes. Just moved in my house in Murfreesboro TN in the Sommersby Subdivision that I as a single parent had built saving every penny to do so. I am so frustrated and furious about an ongoing water leak in the kitchen around the dishwasher. Plumber (who is a joke) came and said not his problem, a GE dishwasher issue. GE came and replaced a seal. I STILL have water leaking since mid Dec and I have been waiting on a call from the plumber after multiple online service requests have been submitted as well as several calls to Ryan Service Request line. At this point my kitchen is sitting with part of the hardwood ripped out and no resolve. No telling how much damage to sub floor, sheet rock and bottom of cabinets in kitchen, plus the worry over mold growing the longer it is wet in this area. They got my money guess they could care less about me huh?? Also shoddy work on drywall, numerous nail pops, bad paint job, and I can feel foreign objects in certain areas under the carpet and pad when I walk barefoot through my house upstairs. Doors won't stay secured or locked in some rooms, list goes on and on...

Ohio built Ryan homes in 2012. Problems galore! This company should not exist!

I am a widow and lone parent. We lost our family home after my husband’s death at age 41 in 2010. I took his very small life Insurance payout and put it down on a new Ryan home in 2011. It was the worst decision of my life. I am now trapped in this falling down money pit. We are also a military family. My husband served 15 years in the Navy, including his time at the Naval Academy, and left as a Lieutenant Commander. I need serious help with this housing nightmare.

This message is for new folks stopping by. Go on and file a complaint with DPOR of VA. Also yes all of the homes have mold and tile issues and all of the homes have flooring, plumbing, electrical and water damage. HVAC/AC units are too small and they installed the wrong duct work as well as windows are warped and siding and insulation are bad. Foundations and Drywall issues are a plus. All of these are part of the lawsuit. If you live in VA please reach out via [email protected] Let us know what we can do to help. We can add you to the class action. It is moving forward. This I promise you will be their undoing. Keep sharing and signing we will get to the 1000 as we move along. Its a process. V/R Elizabeth N. Gray. Turtle Creek Newport News VA.

This is in reply to those that are threatened with breach of contract. 1. Tell them to their face they are in breach of contract due to FAILURE to provide you with a home as per specific building code regulated to the state you live in. 2. Notify them in writing via certified letter to the office that you are walking away due to breach of contract and that you want your money back. Tell them that due to this failure on their part to provide you with what you specifically asked for that its their fault. Not yours. 3. Go see your attorney and let he or she give you good advice on how to go about filing a civil suit to get your money back. All is not lost. If you paid between 500 and 1000 walk away don't say crap and tell them to see your lawyer let that 500 or 1000 go. Its better to lose 500 or 1000 than 60000 or 100000 or 350000. Also if you have issues in other states contact a construction defect lawyer asap. You get the petition going for the area there and if you are not sure how to get a class action started in your state contact us. Reach out to us. We will show you how to do it. Hang in there we are listening. V/R Elizabeth Gray

We are in a process of purchasing a new home through Ryan . Based on the issues that we have identified with the truss. We have decided that is in our best interest not to move forward with the purchase of this home . They are threatening us with a breach of contract if we don't sign within three days. We have reached out to a lawyer and we will be moving forward in following a formal complaint or lawsuit against Ryan homes.

I have a paper trail of issues that have occurred with our new construction home in just the 90 days it's been up here in Matthews, NC new development...Ryans sub standard practices have to held accountable and liable for the horrific home like structures they are producing.
