Wind Storm MAR 2018 Substantial damage to all the siding on one side of the home that had damage less than a year ago when the home was under the builder’s warranty. I have had the home for exactly 1 year 7 months. During the 2018 high winds my home throughout the community was the only home that had siding damage, one or two panel would be different however when it’s the entire siding of one side of the home that is surely to tell you its poor workmanship. I have gotten the home insurance company involved and working out the details to get this repaired. Now when I called Ryan homes local office it was advised to call the siding company and that I did. The company for the siding comment well I am sorry your home has the worse of luck with wind. Really that’s the wrong comment to give a customer. This issue and attention to detail is an issue with RYAN builders its poor craftsmanship and customer service. I have had multiple issues that costed myself enough since the warranty expired and during the warranty I have been dealing with electrical issues that’s still not resolved, the garage door is one issue I will never forget. How do you personally nail wood together with two wood nails that is going to be under a large amount of pressure together. Ryan needs to work these details out and somehow figure out this situation with the siding. I will not stop until I get their ratings down and inform all new customers of their work. Personally this issue with the siding since it was issue in the past when under warranty should be resolved by the builder not the customer. I will continue reach out via twitter, facebook whatever media I can reach out on. It will also be nice to speak with someone on this issue that can actually assist in the matter I can be reach via e-mail at [email protected]

My Ryan Home is in Bethlehem, PA. It has been defective since the day we moved in, in 2005. We have paid thousands to replace windows, add insulation, and replace the entire HVAC system, in just 12 years. The rest of the windows still need to be replaced as some are not installed properly. I am afraid to remodel anything for fear of additional defects that may exist in my home. The drywall is a mess and I am sure major portions may need to be replaced. One headache after another.

If one person make a case and send a letter to each state senate and congress it makes a bigger difference. Than a petition did you know that. Letter means 10,000 signatures

I purchased a resale in a new ryan homes subdevision not knowing that ryan homes becomes my enemy starting from the model home representative in my new community. Ryan homes forever refused to give me the plat for my property while they failed to register proper doccumentation for this individual property at the county clerck's office! Ryan homes told me numerous times that "we do not keep papers for sold properties." I spent from 6 am al the way to 5 pm to locate my plat that was needed for HOA permission to build a fence. Finally the HOA was able to get it from ryan homes.

Closed oct 17. Has been the worst experience ever. Long list of issues. Drywall/paint. Drywall seams in the ceiling visible one month into move in and Ryan homes seems to have no concern. Walls all have different textures and maybe 1-2 coats of paint at most. PM says it’s standard, but also said the job was done poorly. I had to fight in order to have the place repainted and walls touched up, but it still looks awful in spots. Broken hot water heater daybone of Move in and too 5 days for it to be fixed. Currently dealing with hvac and plumbing pipe contraction noises. Two areas have been “fixed” the third they say it’s not loud enough to fix. Just makes me angry to hear any of this in a brand new home! It’s also not a warranty item, but I’d bet if it were their home and they were unable to sleep at night due to the noises they would have it fixed ASAP.

I discovered black mold all throughout the master bathroom shower. Regular drywall was used and ceramic tile placed directly overtop the drywall. Totally disgusting!

I have had plumbing, ac, and heating problems since I’ve purchased this home in 2010. Multiple residences in my neighborhood have had the same problems, if not worst. Please stop this builder!!
