I had the pleasure of having Ryan in my 4th grade classroom. I know first hand how hardworking and dedicated a person he is in and outside of the classroom. As educators, we strive for all students be successful. It is my hope that we are not an obstacle standing in the way of him fulfilling his dream of being a pilot, but rather continue to support him as he embarks on this incredible journey. I know that if given the chance he will take this opportunity very seriously.

I am the VP of the Cary High NJROTC Booster Club and think that it is horrible to deny this child the opportunity to attend a program that he is already so passionate about. Since when are we "leaving children behind"? As an educator myself, the whole idea is to get children involved in learning, not deny them from it.
