Ryan is a dedicated student with a passion to learn more about flying and the military. I believe he is an ideal candidate for Naval JROTC and should be afforded that opportunity.

Ryan seems to have great potential and would be am asset to the jROTC program at Cary High School. I would think that he's the type young man you would want in the program and recommend that you allow him to transfer to the school in order to participate in the ROTC program. He has a great future ahead of him, please don't deny him this opportunity.

This is Wake County at its ABSOLUTE worst! Extremely disappointed!! This boy should be allowed to pursue his academic, and future career!!! Shame on Wake County!!!!

As a Police Officer (retired) I saw so many young people on the streets with no goals or ambitions. There were those of us who desired to help them. Some accepted the help, others rejected it and continued to struggle thru life. Here is a young man with clear cut goals and ambition. Sure those goals may change over time, but now is the time in his life to invest, encourage, and nurture his goals and ideas. That is how young people become successful and the future leaders of our Country. To deny a young person the opportunity too excel and to strive to reach their maximum potential due to a "numbers crunch" is contrary to everything we all have worked so hard to achieve in our education system. Please consider this when making a decision that will shape the future for not only this one young man but possibly the many lives he will impact in his future endeavors.

I was in AFJROTC and in the USAF from 82-92. This program definitely helped me and I wish Ryan the best of luck in pursuing his dreams in the USN.

Would the transfer be approved for a gifted athlete? To deny access to the only program of its kind in the county is....just...wrong! Help him achieve, DON'T be a roadblock on his road to achievement and success.
