One of my favorite people of all time, whether as a coach, teacher or just to talk hunting and fishing with.

Great way to honor a great individual who has done so much for the Red Wing School District. Lots of fond memories of Russ growing up in RW and especially with the football program starting at Twin Bluff.

Mr. Marshall was my first German teacher, football coach, and drivers ed instructor. I am know living in Germany and often think back to all the times we had together throughout my educational years. He is a great man and impacted countless lives over his tenure. This is absolutely, without a doubt the right thing to do by someone who selflessly gave over 40 years of their lifein order to enrich the lives of so many others.

Russ was always there for kids when they needed it. He promoted equality for all and put up with no less. This man deserves to be recognized. As a coach and a neighbor, he has effected my life in one the most positive ways I can think of, by showing me what its like to be a righteous man.
