My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I'm happy for the name change for the field; he deserves that honor. Not sure how many of my children were his students but Russ is always mentioned when they speak of teachers who were role models .

I have so many long time memories of teaching and coaching with Russ. I think of him every time I am in the stands at a softball game for my granddaughter remembering how he coached and I learned how to coach the very first Red Wing Fast pitch Softball team... Cougar I was blessed to work with you ....
