Coach Marshall is the best football coach I've had throughout middle school and high school. He taught me about integrity, hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and dedication. As officer of the armed forces today, I see what he taught all of us reflected in the Air Force core values.

I always loved having Mr.Marshall as a coach as I grew up in Red Wing. I remember his humor and "glow" that he had on a daily basis. Signing this and sending prayers to Russ and his family.

Russ is a football legend in Red Wing he touched countless lives on and off the field. Naming the Football Field after him would immortalize his legacy for future generations, and he will continue to touch the lives for years to come.
