I am a kid who is 12 years old and wants to change the world. I can make an impact right now by joining my community and becoming a part of a single voice. A voice looking to make that difference so many of us are longing for. Thank you for helping us unite together as one and helping others. This is going to change lives. Because together, we can do anything.

Open the damn schools!!! The poor kids are miserable and depressed... and quite frankly, so am I!! The numbers, that the CDC have LIED about, do not correlate the dramatic response of distance learning for months. They need to be in school. Schools are so much more than just an education system. They provide the mental, physical, emotional, and psychological stimulation that our kids NEED to thrive and be happy and healthy (mentally). It’s breaking my heart. Please safely, reopen the schools!!!!!

I am in cosmetology school and I’m not even sure they’ll be able to reopen after 5+ Months of being closed. Reopen schools, education is ESSENTIAL! Especially for school aged kids....

I’ve listened to the thoughtful presentation and thorough discussion of the last two 6hr board meetings with Dr. Lynch, Board, principals and teachers. I’m so appreciative they are putting safety, health and academic excellence as their number 1 priority. Please seriously considering requesting the waiver for in person learning for K-6th grade(not 5th!) Middle school will already be daunting to the 6th graders, as it embodies a new rigorous academic schedule and social/emotional challenges.
In addition, many RUSD parents have signed the waituntil8th.org which Silicon Valley tech ceos highlight the benefits of postponing smartphones and screens. I’m grateful for the Foundation’s investment in outdoor learning spaces in small person groups.☀️I hope that when deemed safe by the Marin County Health, the waiver request would extend through 6th grade. Thank you so much.☺️

Our kids to go back to school in a safe and controlled environment. The damage to the children imposed by no access to f-2-f school is much greater than covid.

Time to open up Marin schools! All scientific studies prove that it's absolutely safe to do so, and schools in all other countries have opened accordingly. Politicians and teacher's unions need to stop playing games over a virus whose mortality rate for people under 50 is lower than the common flu. Time to put our kids first.

My son, Bo, will be a 2nd Grader at Reed. He has been in summer camp, successfully wearing a mask and staying healthy.
I am in favor of reopening schools in the fall.

If Camps and daycares have been open for months, why can’t schools? Follow their protocols for safety.

Kids need to go back to school. There’s scientific evidence from other highly affected countries such as Italy and China that the potential for contagion is extremely low.
Not going back to school is hurting our children tremendously!

Please use science to decide rather than politics. Our kids should go back to school there is limited evidence that kids are vectors for infection
