Rudy doesn't deserve to be on death row. Rudy was a good, smart, well respected kid. Give him a second chance in life.

I grew up with Rudy.. The Rudy i know couldnt and will not hurt anyone.. I remember one day after school as we walked home.. We use 2 talk and laugh about our plans for our future.. Rudy was a very out goin person . He was always laughing and finding the good things in life..

My husband is going through a case in which they are trying to convict him under law of parties when he was not even there and is supposed to know what others may or may not do?! This law is so ridiculous! How can one person be responsible and know what another's actions maybe? I don't personally know Rudy but if he is being held on law of parties it is BS and needs to be free!!! I hope we can all stand together to get this law abolished!!! I went to school with rudy in mercedes there is no way he would be involved in something like that he just want the type I just hope they realize what there doing

He is an innocent man whom is known in the school district of this Elsa and local church member and does not deserve this type of punishment. Please give him another chance in society.

My husband was born in Hidalgo Co. where Rudy is from. He told me Rudy is innocent, and that he never killed anyone. He said Rudy is not a bad person but he was hanging around bad people. If this is true, then hopefully the justice system can re try Mr. Medrano before it's too late. My family prays for all the victims in this tragedy, and hopes that another innocent person doesn't have to die to make the wrongs right. Yes, a horrible crime took place. No one denies that--but sentencing a man to die for not killing anyone is also a crime. We don't know all of the facts in this case, but I believe my husband when he tells me that Mr. Rudy Medrano didn't kill anyone. (this web-site shows 324 signatures, mine is 325- I've seen other petitions at 148 needing 1000 signatures Elsa, TX only has a population of 6,000. residents that is more than 10% of this town- where they grew up together cousins, friends, family know of each-other I am 1000 mi away and 10 plus years later and I just hope someone hears this petition and might be able to look further into this Rudy Medrano actual involving with this crime.)
