Ruby Mountain re-zoning could allow for commercial development

Rubies are my home and I’ll fight to stand tall for them.

Please do not allow development on this land, our water resources in this area is severly limited. Even on private land this development would have huge impacts on surrounding areas.

Please let us keep our nature pure!

I love the idea, but I can’t help but feel it’s unfair to the wildlife and the already struggling environment

This area is such a treasure of biodiversity. Stop degrading Nevada’s unique wild spaces!

We are constantly told to pursue economic growth, encourage development, and grow, grow, grow, even if it's people from out of state buying up Nevada's land. At what point will we stand up for our wild lands, unburdened by hordes of transient tourists who, by and large, will fail to give them the respect they deserve? You can already ski, hike, and drive large swathes of the Rubies, but do we have to open the door wider to take away another of Nevada's majestic montane gems?

Build your resort in California.

Please do not put a ski area in the Ruby Mountains!!

The Ruby Mountains are a spectacular series of ecosystems, really without equal in NV. I went to the Ruby Lake NWR thirty something years ago and the number and diversity of birds there was amazing. Hiked in the Ruby Mountains. Just beautiful. Protect them.

Keep rubies wild. Keep Californian investors out! Rubies are plenty skiable without a resort.
