I can’t think of a worse way to ruin these beautiful mountains. The county and Forest Service/BLM need to know this would be a travesty and I oppose this ugly development.

Consider the fact we have had drought conditions for years. Water is already at a premium as well as infrastructure. We don't need a ski area that probably won't have enough snow to keep open.

Local and the rubies are fine they way they are. Well loved and cared for. Nothing about them needs to change.

Leave my beautiful home alone and stop bringing your out of state ideas into my state. You want to ski, go to the snow bowl up 5th street. Or pay for the heli skiing at ruby 360 lodge. But don’t scar the face of the ruby mountains for “financial benefit” for the land owner.

This is a terrible idea. No out of state investor's pipe dream should be allowed to change the current zoning. The wildlife and area needs our protection. The amount of water needed isn't going to fly. I hope this doesn't happen.

I lived in Wyoming 40 years and watched what happened to Park City. It is now over run with homes from SLC to Coalville, Utah. Also no longer has beautiful mountain ranges. It is full of lifts and equipment. Also when they started seeding the clouds our water dropped significantly. There are plenty of places within reason to ski. It’s ok to leave the Rubies alone!!!!

No way. I have been in SC for over 20 years and my husband has been here almost 40. With one way in and one way out it is already really bad in an emergency. We do not need this at all.

I am vehemently opposed to the building of a ski resort in the Ruby Mountains near Spring Creek. This is not something this community has asked for and is only being proposed in order to make someone a bunch of money. The infrastructure does not exist and to develop it would take away from the resources we depend on. Not least, is the concern of access and what the increased traffic would mean to our community. There is only one developed road in and out of the valley and if there was any type of emergency, people would be stuck.
