We, the undersigned, strongly oppose Notting Hill Housing Groups implementation of residential parking controls. We do not believe that the Notting Hill Housing Group has stated any relevant cause or good reasons to implement new 24 hour parking controls on the estate therefore any new residential parking restrictions are improper, unjustified and in no way serve the common good of those living on the estate.
We are concerned that restricting permits to one car owner only per household restricts householders and further isolates our elderly and more vulnerable residents. It makes no allowance for multiple occupancy households and households without a car are not eligible to apply. Furthermore, we object to a scheme that does not consider our visitors or even guarantee at least one parking space per household.
We are not aware of any consultation with households since August 2015 and feel that Notting Hill Housing Group has failed to consider or present any alternate proposals.

I was just out by the curb looking at the signs again and honestly it makes my blood boil how they think they can just ignore us like this. I have been drafting a letter to the housing group office because nobody will return my phone calls and I am tired of waiting for some actual transparency after all this time.

I am partly disabled. Still i have not got a confirmed parking space. This is ridiculus. I have written so many times to Lenwell. They refused on all occasions. I paid 6 parking tickets. To park infront of my house.
I visit my mother regularly who lives within this development with my small children... I would be very hard to continue to visit if no parking options are available for visitors... this would result in my children missing out on seeing their grandmother.
NO TO 24 HOUR PARKING RESTRICTIONS! it should be flexible like any other residential areas. ie, 8-5 no parking mon-fri.;
We don't want parking control, we have never asked for it. I think you should stop stressing your residents. You've been trying to implement this nonsense every year round this period. So please stop repeating this every year. No means No
definite "no" to parking control

I understand we need some sort of control parking but we also need spaces for friends and family so until then I'm against the parking control

None of our visitors can park close to us. They taking this as a reason to visit us less. On a rainy day to park 2 roads away and to walk down is not acceptable. Further the residents 2 roads down are moaning that we use their space up. Even to that point that they damage the car. Key scratches. Windscreen marks. Something has to be changed.
