This is ridiculous the IOWA GOP thinking they can eliminate grassroots input. This is the kind of garbage that Democrats pull. We should be better than this.

This is truly egregious party overreach. We do not want our fundamental platforms, which guide the actions of our party and our legislators, to be stripped from the citizens and put into the hands of a few autocrats.

No champion of conservatism could possibly support any measure that removes the voice of the grassroots from the caucus-to-convention process in Iowa.

If government is for the people by the people, why are you considering this? You are to serve and the people want a voice.

What the RPI is considering, eliminating the current platform process, is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Should the RPI go forward with this plan, rest assured that many Central Committee members, the very people the RPI depend on to run the caucus and elections, will resign. It will be clear to all that the RPI has become a top down dictatorship rather than a grass roots citizen organization. It will be a disaster for Iowa, and the Republican Party. DON'T DO IT!!

Stifling grass root input by removing the county and district level input will reduce the draw to the Republican Party and reduce accountability by elected officials.

My voice shall NOT be CANCELLED. Our entire law system is built on the premise that, WE, THE PEOPLE, are to have a day in or governance, and NOT an authoritarian, oligarchy! We The People have the Constitutional RIGHT and determination of FREE WILL.

The state party platform should reflect the will of the grassroots - not a few people meeting in Des Moines!

“Hell no” on changing this, we expect our voices to be heard.
The GOP tries to be it’s own worst enemy and this change attempt is a perfect example

And, allow for amendments, as it has been.
