WE the Grassroots of Iowa conservative movement do sign below to show our support for letting the grassroots set the platform for the Republican Party of Iowa. WE insist that zero changes are made to the process of: caucus planks-->county platform-->district platform-->finally to the STATE PLATFORM.
As a long time Republican activist and platform plank writer, I believe we should keep the current system.

Marion County - Secretary
For as much as Jeff Kauffman mentions how much of a "grass roots" state Iowa is...in EVERY speech... I hope he understands the ramifications this action will be to the Republican party. We want less power in the government and more power to the people. This action is the opposite. Don't do this.

No change as even though it is a pain to process, we all as Republicans need to hear of members in each location in Iowa of what key issues need addressed in the Republican Platform.

This is truly egregious party overreach. We do not want our fundamental platforms, which guide the actions of our party and our legislators, to be stripped from the citizens and put into the hands of a few autocrats.

No champion of conservatism could possibly support any measure that removes the voice of the grassroots from the caucus-to-convention process in Iowa.

Stifling grass root input by removing the county and district level input will reduce the draw to the Republican Party and reduce accountability by elected officials.
