I was walking past the old school yesterday and it really hit me how much space is just sitting there rotting away while we have nowhere to go. I have been spending my nights digging through these old council meeting minutes from way back when because they think we just forgot about the promises they made to us in 2004.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving and seeing so many people standing up for our old school building makes me feel like we might actually have a shot at keeping this space for everyone. It feels like the tide is finally turning because for the longest time I thought I was shouting into the void about that ridiculous 2004 promise but now the momentum is just incredible.

Total joke. They promised this to us years ago and now they just want the cash. typical council.
This building is part of our history and shouldn't just be handed over to some developer for luxury flats. Keep it for the people!
SAVE THE BUILDING!!!!
Ridiculous decision. We need more community hubs not another private block sitting empty.
Keep the school!! It could be such a good space for the youth center weve been asking for forever.

My kids went there and it was such a great space. Dont let them tear it down or turn it into condos.
