I have 3 boys, the youngest graduating next year, and am well aware for the need of another rink in our area. More community rinks mean more opportunity for our youth to be involved in sports and away from becoming distracted by unconstructive behaviour.

Kids and adults will both use a facility like this. It's a long term investment in the health of people. Encouraging fun participation a goal of Health Canada. The city should be proud to partner and provide such an arena where everyone can enjoy sports.

I like the 3rd arena idea. However I like a future Langley Events Centre style facility being built on the existing Canada Games Pool site. Underground parking, 4 gymnasiums, workout center, existing modernized aquatic center, 2 arenas, and community rooms. It would be nice to have a facility of this nature in New Westminster. Our city is growing yearly and we need to support our sports and recreation programs for the future. Do it right and do it now! Together we can do this!
