We need this pitch and more facilities like this to help develop youngsters of all abilities. Sport is vital in so many ways. To increase confidence and self esteem, help with team work, social skills, respect and fairplay, develop frienships just to list a few. I can't believe we don't already have a facility like this already in Harpenden.

The town and Harpenden Colts simply needs/deserves this facility. Colts is such a success for the town; a club that we are all proud to be part of. Sports for kids we all know is great, so let's give the circa 900 kids the benefits they deserve and the town needs.

I support the proposal for an artificial pitch. Harpenden Colts provides a great environment for a broad age range of children and young people and these pitches will ensure that the club can continue in this vain.

This would provide a much needed facility with a good playing surface for the young players which is sadly lacking locally.

I think that this is a great Idea, I went to Roundwood from the age of Four and it`s a great school, And this would great for the local community . It`s a must!!
