Please approve this facility to keep our children playing sport in Harpenden, the lack of local facilities means endless hours wasted driving to train in Luton and elsewhere. The kids deserve better facilities so they can play sport in all weather and walk/ cycle there.

Harpenden is in critical need of an artificial pitch to help with youth football development and other sports.

The football facilities for colts in Harpenden are wholly inadequate, completely unrepresentative of the level of participation. I believe there is the strongest possible moral and social obligation on us as residents, and the Council to address this with urgency

This would be a fantastic facility for the young sportsmen and women of Harpenden.

This is long overdue and embarrassing that we seem more interested in building houses rather than supporting our young people and our struggling schools.

My son plays for harpenden colts fc and as his father who was born and schooled in harpenden I would embrace the need for a quality all weather football surface. Please give and the local boys of harpenden the oppprtuinty that I never had as a youth.

I have 2 boys in Colts, one in U14, and the other just starting out in U8. They both love it, but having to travel to Luton for training is very difficult, plus unjustifiable environmentally. Every team we play can't believe that Harpenden can't provide pitches for its colts to train or often for matches - it's quite simply embarrassing. Please approve!!

It would be a welcome facility to the local area.
It would be lovely to play football on this pitch (Luca Hill, under 8s)

Please please pass the application. I am sick of having to drive to Luton every week to coach our colty team. There really should be facilities in our town. 800 boys/girls really deserve better than the town are currently providing for them.
