I do not want a round about by my kids school speeding is already bad enough please don't make it any worse!

Roundabouts are supposed to keep the traffic flowing. This cannot be when traffic needs to be stopped for children to cross the street. As a parent I worry about the safety of the children. Especially with elementary children who may not be aware of all the dangers around them darting into traffic. Driver's may not always see these children and if a driver feels they have the right of way they may not stop.

Roundabouts should not be anywhere near school crossings!!! I have almost been hit at the roundabout on College, and have seen the crossing guard there nearly hit several times!! The cars can't see the crossing guard from the other side and don't have time to react.

As a parent of a Richmond student I do not like this proposal. Round abouts are dangerous, drivers are not effective at watching for other vehicals let alone students that are young and crossing the street. This decision is will not make this a safer or more efficent way for traffic to flow. It will cause heavier congestion and confused drivers to put our kids at risk. I am heavily against this round about.

A three way stop works, vehicle stop, in a roundabout they don't stop. There's too many kids crossing there for school and the pool in the summer. The three-way stop works, why pull it out?

Terrible idea - roundabouts are useful but not here. It would create more traffic problems than it can solve and it would also make the area more dangerous for children!!!
