I served as your 1L Class Treasurer for the past year and it has been a wonderful experience thus far. I spearheaded the class sweatshirt project--designing the sweatshirts, crunching the numbers, and ensuring that they would be provided to you for free. After former Dean Jennings told me about Marjorie Lang, a JD and counselor at the wellness center, I communicated this to my fellow class officers and together we facilitated a presentation on mental wellbeing in law school.
As a first-generation law student and biracial woman raised in a middle-eastern household, I value not only diversity, but intersectionality, and have a strong appreciation for ensuring that everyone's voice is heard. I want to know your concerns, actually make things happen, and most importantly be your friend. I have also had the pleasure of serving you as a Dean's Fellow, and I am equipped to ensure that the needs of our class (and the overall student body) are of utmost importance to the university if elected president.
I am so excited to share with you my plans for the year ahead later this week. Thank you all so much for the support!

YES ROSANNA! She is always there to listen when things get stressful at the library. She would be an amazing president for us.
