As a life long resident growing up in Westvale and attending Westhill schools I really feel strongly that naming the playground after Ronnie should be a no Brainer. C'mon school board, do what's right!!! Listen to the tax payers, the residents and people who want to do a nice thing. Pass the vote!!

Ronnie is great! He was also a "coach" at the Fay road fields with the Geddes Litlle League when I played there back in the 80's, and he had stories for all of us too :)

I lived at 418 Cherry Rd growing up, and spent lots of time at the playground in the 80's. Ronnie was a fixture! This would be a really cool way to recognize him and his role in the community.

Ronnie carried my daughter home after she broke her collar bone at the play ground. What a great friend to all.

I knew Ronnie well when I grew up on Cherry Rd in Westvale. He was a gentle giant and a friend to everyone.

Ronnie was the gentle giant that made an impact on numerous kids in the mid seventies. He was a fixture at the school/park during hundreds of little league baseball games.

This is truly a great idea! I was at Cherry Road School 1967-1970 and have fond memories of Ronnie. It's heart-warming to read all of the tributes to this unique man.

Ronnie touched the lives of so many of us in a positive way. We learned from Ronnie that we are all different and for that reason we should accept everyone for who they are. I will always be thankful to this courageous man for teaching me this very important life lesson. What would this world be like today if every one had a chance to meet Ronnie Paxton?
