So many fond memories of Ronnie. This would be a great decision.

He was such a huge part of my childhood! I just turned 60 and Cherry Road playground was my "go to" place! Many fun days there! Thank you, Ronnie!!

A hero to most children in Westvale. He did so many wonderful things for children. He will truly be missed. God bless you Ronnie.

I guarantee you anyone who would oppose the designation is not half the person Ronnie is. In fact, I quite certain that same thing could be said of those of us who support it. Ronnie is, was, and will remain for as long as even one of us remains alive a Westvale treasure.

Yes! I grew up right across the street from Cherry Road School and spent a majority of my childhood at the park. Ronnie was always there making us laugh and keeping us safe. I'll never forget him pushing us on the swings and yelling "do you wanna go higher!" And who could forget his boom box which he would always have with him to play his tapes. I am now in my 40s and have moved away but stories of Ronnie still come up with my brother when we talk about memories of cherry road. So, yes! Naming this park after Ronnie is a wonderful idea that I fully stand behind.

I feel blessed to be one of the many folks to have known this great man. Naming the park after Ronnie would be an honor for him and everyone who knew him.

Ronnie would round the corner by the brick wall where we were hitting tennis balls and say "Did you HEAR the news??!!" He would have some cute story to tell. Even if it was the same one from the day before...nobody cared! He was so happy to share his story with us. Carrying his radio on his shoulder. Sweet guy.

Ronnie is truly pure and all love. I'm grateful I was lucky enough to grow up in Westvale when he was a fixture at Cherry Road. It was a special time back then as a kid. What a perfect way to honor such an amazing man.

This man deserves this. He was the greatest man in our neighborhood growing up. Always looked out for the kids and was one of the nicest people I've ever met.
