All of Rolla’s public schools are fully seated 5 days a week except our HS and there is no return to fully seated date in site. These are HS kids not college kids taking online college classes.

These kids need to be in school, they aren’t learning at home and that’s hurting our children. These kids need school, they are stressed out and this is not helping. Please think about our kids future.

Children do not learn in a virtual environment and need the socialization aspect of in person learning. As a healthcare professional, I am sick of schools ignoring mental health of children. We are told to keep our screen time down so out children learn to use their imagination, and now you are forcing them to learn this way. Ludicrous! CDC has lost their ever loving mind and is NOT the only organization that provides health guidance. Ignoring FACTS is wrong.

Totally agree. Healthy kids need to learn with their peers.

I believe they should use makes or 6 ft rule. Keep them in their everyday routines. This is causing far to many issues, such as learning and isolation which is affecting mental health.

From the CDC on September first: Staff and students who have recently had close contact with a person with COVID-19 should also stay home and monitor their health.

Staff and students who have recently had close contact with a person with COVID-19 should also stay home and monitor their health. This is a quote from the CDC dated September 1.
