Rolla Public Schools needs to keep students in seated classes 5 days a week and to stop forcing quarantines on healthy children. Parents were given a choice to send their children to seated learning or to attend virtually. Parents that chose seated school understand the risks involved in doing so. According to the CDC and Academy of Pediatrics, schools need to fully reopen and children need in classroom instruction. Virtual learning is still an option for families not willing to take these risks.

We have already been quarantined for almost 21 days due to Covid, when my children were and still are perfectly healthy and had negative Covid tests!

My granddaughter deserves to receive her education in a classroom. If she is healthy why should she have to be quarantined. This puts a huge hardship on the parents of these younger kids. Some are single parents and most do not have the option of being home to see that their child is on that zoom call. What happened to “No child left behind”? Virtual school is and has left several kids behind in learning.

Student's need schools. Not just to learn, but the school feeds a lot of kids that dont have any food at home.

Our schools need to be open... our children need an education that is seated not virtual, they need socialization skills, I truly feel this could be very bad in the long run, mentally and emotionally.

Makes no sense to quarantine healthy students if masks are supposed to be working.

All of Rolla’s public schools are fully seated 5 days a week except our HS and there is no return to fully seated date in site. These are HS kids not college kids taking online college classes.
