While I am too young to have seen him play, my Mother did see him play. The stories she told me, the stories and account I have read, this man deserves a place in the Hall of Fame.

I loved Rocky Colavito when I first fell in love with baseball as a child in the sixties. The kids on the sandlot nicknamed me "Rocky" because I imitated he batting stance, he certainty deserves HOF consideration as evidenced by his substantial lifetime batting and fielding statistics.

My favorite Indians player when I was a child! Even though he passed away, he will always be my favorite baseball player!
