Late 50's I started following MLB, I became a Yankee fan and still am. One of the best opponents has been Rocky Colavito. He belongs alongside players of the '50's - '60's Yankees like Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Bill Skowron, so I agree with you. I may also mention Harmon Killebrew.

I saw him as a true big time player. Without question he belonged in the Hall a long time ago and certainly deserves to be now.

I am 77 and a Yankees fan since the 60s and I idolized Mantle. When I was about ten, a major league all star team came to Syracuse to play the Syracuse Chiefs in an exhibition game. After the game they had us kids line up in the stands and the players would give autographs. Mantle never showed up and I was disappointed but Rocky Colavito gave me his autograph. He was a premiere power hitter for Cleveland and Detroit and deserves to be in the Hall

Colavito was my brother’s favorite player. I think his numbers speak for themselves. I thought he was already in the HOF! How have they overlooked him!
