Rocky Colavito deserves to be in Hall of Fame. I grew up in the 50s and 60s and baseball was king of sports during that time. Colavito was right up there with Mantel, Mays, Killabrew, Aaron with power. He also could pitch and played a strong outfield. He deserves and in fact has earned this honor.

His career stats match up to the greatest players in that era, except batting average. But his overall play, especially defensively and his power and popularity should give him the greatest consideration to be in the Hall of Fame. Besides, he was my baseball hero growing up!

Not his fault that Frank Labe was an idiot. Colavito, Maris and Cash should have been the Indians 3,4 and 5 hitters in 1961. Lane traded them all.
