My husband and your website convinced me. But, truth be told, if Rocky was a little less arrogant and treated people the way he insisted on being treated, there would be no need for this petition. He'd already be in the HOF, ie., see Albert Belle!

There was a lot of politics involved in Hall of Fame selection when Rocky passed away. He was not overlooked because people did not like him or appreciate his contributions. He was overlooked because he quietly did his job.

This is important because Rocky did a lot more to enhance not just baseball in Cleveland, but made them contenders. He was to the Indians what Ernie Banks was to the Chicago Cubs. He was Cleveland's version of Mr. Cub.
