Rocky Colavito was a true Hall of Famer whose accomplishments were overlooked because he played away from the major media market spotlight; his statistics clearly qualify him. Beyond that, he served as a model representative for the game both during and after his career.

Rocky Calido getting into the HALL OF FAME is very special to me because one of my best friends is cousins with him and all he did was tell me about him from for the last 50 years of how great he was and he gave me a baseball card which I cherish and still have till today 50 years later
