Our tax dollars pay the politicians and police, we deserve to know what's going on, especially for free. The decision about the scanners is up to the people, not the politicians. They work for us, not the other way around. Otherwise, why are we giving them our tax dollars.

This has been a deterrent to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's not in the best interest of the community.

The public needs to hold the police accountable. If the police become secretive instead of more transparent public relations will continue to suffer.

It would be nice to know when somebody is robbing my next door neighbor now I won't know ,the news stations say call them if you see a crime but they won't let the public know I Guess with the invention of the Smart Phone the Public will have to develop an App,Web,page, our use Facebook To tell were real time Crime is happing.

This is the only way we hear about ALL the crime going on and can be aware, the news doesn't report on everything

I am a single mom in the rolling green area and knowing what is going on helps me be more aware of when something happened in my neighborhood.

This page keeps me knowledgeable regarding family and friends. An example of this was when my parent's neighborhood had a break-in, with the suspect on the loose two blocks from them. They were not home. My brother was. Knowing this information, I called and notified my parents who notified my brother to watch the house and not answer the door. It's a great peace of mind.
