Hi would anyone like to help me with my petition here too? I signed this one I think the petitions would work well together I'm trying to get Robin's birthday observed as a nation day of rememberance. Not a holiday actually (he does deserve a full fledged holiday thought) but just a day of Rememberance. I do not have a lot of financial resources but I'm relatively local ( CT). Please let me know of any footwork that needs to be done. I'm glad to help this cause if possible.

I lived in Boston for 13 years, from 1991-2004. I also battle depression, as I have for 27 years. I sat on that bench countless times, before "Good Will Hunting" and after. The thing is I always sat there alone, watching the ducks. If people could sit on that bench next to Robin Williams in bronze, even in spirit, maybe they would not feel so alone. And maybe, just maybe, Robin could see each one of them as they sat next to the bronze replica of him, and not feel so alone either.
