I have been on Dr. Savoy's staff for his fMRI teaching fellowships for the last 2.5 years. He is the epitome of a phenomenal teacher, organizer and person, and has provided invaluable assistance to researchers around the world. Even though I am the most junior on his faculty, he always integrates me and makes me feel as welcome and important as some of the most esteemed members of the team (and that is saying something - we have neuroimaging pioneers on staff!). I have learned so much from him both personally and professionally and I cannot think of anyone better to receive this award. I feel truly honored and blessed every time I assist with his courses and they deserve to be credited as the groundbreaking pieces of history that they are.

I was one of the lucky ones in Hong Kong to attend his educational program 15 years ago. His teachings and papers are still influencing my research work now. I fully support this normination.
