We love Luscombe Farms and the wonderful food they provide our family and the space they provide for our local farmers market. We value our local farmers and are happy to stand up for them!

I would like to see some maps/diagrams of what is proposed/requested by the city for an easement, and where the preferred route would be. How long would it be? How wide would it be? If the proposed easement is only a quarter mile long, that's very different from a 5 mile long easement through a rural community.
Also, how wide is the existing right of way? 50' wide (fairly standard)? If so, how much impact would an 80' wide easement/right of way be? The city already has right of way under the existing road, so what prevents it from using that land for the water line? How much more would it cost the city to run the potential future road on the alternative route? These are all important considerations to have in hand when arguing with the city for a better alternative.

Save the road to Grandma's house! Put the big road where it will benefit those in the community best, behind the homes, not down the middle of them.

Collin County, do not put the road thru the Luscome farm and the neighboring farm. We need all the local farmers that we can get. This farm has been a family farm for along time and the road needs to be put somewhere else. Thank you.

Anna city government no longer serves the interest of its citizens but serves the will of developers only. City bureaucrats run the show, and the council hasn't the will nor inclination to question them, and just rubber stamps the city manager's proposals.
