Road Safety Concern

Good luck Harvey. I hope you manage to improve the situation with the road crossing!

Even though the speed limit has been reduced it is rarely adhered to. Speeding cars cannot see the students on the school side of the crossing very easily and it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt or worse.

I use the crossing every day and the cars go fast down that road and sometimes it feels very dangerous.

I agree Harvey, where the pavement is so narrow on the school side of the crossing, visibility can be very poor, with car drivers not always being able to see if there are people waiting to cross.

This is an important issue requiring response

This is well known locally for being a problem with cars not stopping, possibly not seeing the crossing clearly, thank you for the petition
