Rocky Mountain Deaf School needs your support to secure a location for the new building. We have identified a 10 acre site at 2090 Wright St. in Lakewood, which is currently owned by Jefferson County School District and is designated as an elementary school site. Jeffco has applied to rezone this site to allow for a K-12 facility so that we can purchase this site with our BEST grant funds. We believe this is an optimal location for the construction of a new facility specifically designed for deaf and hard of hearing students. A show of community support is necessary as we proceed through the rezoning process, which includes a public hearing with the Planning Commission and the City Council. Please support RMDS as we move forward with our dream of building a state-of-the-art facility!
ONE HUNDRED PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY JOINED THIS MISSION TO BUILD OUR DREAM FACILITY!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE START AND I AM BEYOND EXCITED TO SEE THIS MOMENTUM!!

These kids deserve a place that is actually designed for them. It makes no sense to hinder this project.
