Our schools are already facing overcrowding. Funding is available to provide fixtures needed at their current school and or to build a building PS 24 deserves.

I am sure with all the expertise at the district office, an alternative and holistic solution can be found that will not compromise the already over-extended school environment at RKA.

my children went to this school and my grandchildren are now students. It is a shame that the children who are already on the brink of overcrowded conditions could be subjected to an increase by so many new students. with new schools being built (231 St) why jeopardized the integrity of one of the few good public schools that are left.

It is unfair to the children both PS141 and PS24 that have a very small space to share. You guys have to find out another solution .

I'd like to sign the petition that disagrees with students from PS24 attending RKA because as it is their isn't enough space for the current students.

RKA already combines grades 6-12 in a three-story building. Adding more students from different grade levels sounds chaotic.

Please do not take away the space needed for the 141 6th grade. Let PS 24 take care of themselves and please do not deny my child the space and education she deserves. Thank you.

The school is already over crowded as it is. Why make this so uncomfortable for our current students?

I am appauled that they would even think of housing more students in a ms/hs that is way beyond capacity. They need to find a better, and safe place to house those elementary school kids.

We desperately need all the classrooms in PS 141 and cannot afford to give up any of our classes rooms which are already terrible over crowded.

Middle school students should not be faced with a chaotic learning environment, which would be the result if PS 24 students were crowded into RKA.

I would love to help P.S. 24 but I am not okay with putting my child in danger and his education in jeopardy just to because P.S. 24 didn't act on time to safe their building. I am not okay with that.

RKA is over crowded already. Another alternative should be created for PS 24.
Placing 5th graders with junior high and high school students should be strongly advised against. These years are very important for kids preparing for high school and college, this could affect their desire to work hard.
