We believe that Rivermaya is : Mark Escueta Mike Elgar Japs Sergio and Jayson Fernandez the name was never created by Lizza Nakpil. She was merely a manager / agent of the band. We do not agree to her claims. Sign the petition to save the music and keep the music alive. Lizza Nakpil says she is the record label hence she owns the songs. If you do not support this we will not have the freedom to hear, see, play or even write about Rivermaya without her consent. She does not own the Rivermaya name. The Intellectual Property Office says that nobody owns it. For her to attempt to take down all the websites of the band and their fans is illegal. Sign this petition saying that you believe that Rivermaya is Mark, Mike, Japs and Jayson. This is the only way to keep the music going, past and present fans must unite, otherwise the Rivermaya you remember, no matter how long ago it was will cease to exist, once it's in the hands of undeserving people like Lizza Nakpil. Let's not allow this to happen.
