Because we still want to play Hide-and-Seek, Find the Teemo, and just plain DOMINION.
If you want to support the player experience, why cut something from customs? It doesn't make sense. No one is asking for resources to be pooled into it when it's no longer a supported official queue, but can't we just have it as an option?

The momentum behind this push proves just how much we value the freedom to play the game on our own terms. Send a direct message to the community leads on Twitter today to demand they keep Dominion accessible as a custom mode.

This gamemode allows me to try odd stuff that I can't do in normals without being reported for trying something off meta.
I am a long time follower of Dominion, and as a higher ELO player, i've always used Dominion to help take the stress off after a bad ranked game. It would seriously depress me and make me consider quitting, even as someone who's spent hundreds of dollars on League and has been an active supporter of all of Riot's decisions.

PLEASE KEEP OUR DOMINION, YOU ARE TAKING AWAY OUR WAY OF HAVING FUN
like everyone else had said, the only reason why dominion is not as popular is because dominion has not been advertise as much as SR. all the new stuff is for SR.
Dominion should be an eSport. If it were promoted as such from the very beginning, it would have easily eclipsed SR's popularity.

Would be nice if Riot, could keep the game mode or maybe put in Ascension instead. Anything is better than straight up deleting the game mode.
